Hi, looking to improve the barrel on my newly aquired 10/22
Just slapped a Nomad stock on it for the cool looking factor, now I aim for accuracy.

So I checked on every damned sponsor on the forum and only found 2 models of bullbarrel. Either I missed something in their search fonction or there are not much choice in canada.

Where do you guys find yours? I don't want anything fancy... just something accurate and not too expensive.

No, new to the 10/22 family so I don't know the brands really, just checked the sponsors website listed here. Gonna go check it out

Yeah, not cheap, but when you spend it you get a very nice shooter.

Lots of 10/22 lovers no haters, but I'll put any of mine up against any other rim fire in a 50-100yd test.

Oh I'm sure I'd get a ton of fun out of it but I have a ton of other projects too... like finally getting a pistol.
I have my MKII SV for precision shooting anyway, I'll see if I can get satisfied with the stock barrel for the moment.

Thanks for the references, I'll maybe use them if needed

Hey Pinard,

In the world of bull barrels, $200-$300 is going to be the average price range you're looking at, no matter what the dollar is at. I'm currently at the same crossroad with my 10/22, as a heavy barrel is the next logical upgrade for mine. I think the question you should ask yourself is how accurate do you want your gun to be? If you're okay with groups of one or two inches at 50 yards, then I would say just stick with the standard barrel and spend the money on something that will give you more value. If you are looking to tighten the groups up as much as possible and consistently shoot sub MOA, then I would say the investment is definitely worth it. I was going to suggest looking up Dlask Arms, but it has already been mentioned multiple times, so I guess I'm just supporting the suggestion now. Dlask manufactures barrels and also retails Kidd products, which are considered the best 10/22 parts in the industry right now. If you would like any other information about the 10/22, I have had mine for a year and a half and have spent a lot of time modifying it to make it shoot to my liking, so if you have any questions, I'd love to share my experience with you. You can PM me or give the store a call at 1-877-547-6873.

Hey hi, thanks. thought the weak dollar was to blame here, my bad.
currently I'm not looking for a laser shooting rifle, it's sitting in a g36 style stock and will be primarly shooting standing, at steel target and paper sillouet.
I'll see how it performs and I'll decide then if I want it to shoot better or not!

The dlask SS is heavy piece of steel , not the best thing for standing and shooting. Now, the Tac Sol is a very light and accurate barrel. Well worth the extra $80. I had both.

Dlask is the way 2 go.
GM barrels are like any other .22.
You might get lucky, you might het crap!
Iirc dlask barrels are GM blanks.
You pick but if you get a dud, dont whine here
