10/22 Bush Gun

Nicely done

Is there a pressure point under the front of the barrel? I really like how you trimmed the stock, looks so much 'cleaner' than just removing the band.

Where did you get the aluminum butt plate...or did you make it? Sweet-looking, all-around shooter for sure!

Thanks .22LRGUY
I got that plate off an old 1971 walnut stocked 10/22

What's the bolt handle? Do you like the mag release? Barrel length?

Hey Lone-Wolf!! (sorry to see Vancouver didn't get to hoist Stanley ;) )
The bolt handle is a KID, the barrel length is 16" and YES I REALLY like that type of mag release. One slight finger movement is all it takes to drop your mag out.

Thanks very much Houndog.
I have a little .075" slice of flexable PVC plastic glued in the barrel channel, so NO there is no pressure point at the front of the barrel.

I think that would be a bad ass varmint gun. Bi-pod and all. prone shots would be a breeze with that set-up.

Great work.

Thanks pitboydog.....;)
I'm glad someone was thinking along the same lines as me. :D

Here's some new pics with a Bushnell Trophy 3-9X40 scope and with & without the bipod (with the Uncle Mikes quick disconnect swivels, it's a breeze to switch back and forth!)
