So tonight I'm out at the range, I haven't been in quite a while, and I am setting up with my 10/22 (modded but still has stock receiver). I load up my first 25 round mag and shoot off 2 rounds and then jam - one of the rounds is pinched coming off of the clip into the chamber. I clear the misfeed and check the bullet and it is sheared on the bottom side. This happens quite a few more times.
A friend of mine who is with me shaves off a bit of plastic from the top of the mag and this seems to help for a time - seems that the only way to get it to feed properly is to hold the clip with one hand so its changes the angle that the bullet is presented in the receiver (this only works some times). Also I notice that there is quite a bit of wiggle room for the mag in the receiver.
Anyone have problems like this or know if this is a common problem with the plastic version of the B.C mags?
