I saw the BX on the Ruger site.
This AM a email from Brownell's has a Timney for the 10/22 at $235 USD . . . now to get it into the country.

I put one in my daughters gun, i actually like it, when i bought it was only$105, for the extra $30 i would get the Kidd trigger job kit, i got mine from Dlask, far superior, easy install.

When I bought one I tried like 10 different BX triggers at Cabelas and there really was quite a difference between them. I would buy from somewhere that has a bunch so you can try before you buy. The packaging allows you to try the trigger. Overall, it was worth it for me. The lighter weight trigger made me a better shot.

I said to hell with it and bought a Timney from Mystic Precision.
I don't plan on doing any other mods on my Deluxe with a 22" barrel.
What the Hell . . . it's only money!

same .I have one on my dsp have had it for a few years. Seemed expensive at the time but thats all forgotten now.I am thinking of trying a bx on another 10 22 to compare.Maybe they will go on sale. ( black friday??)

ive got a Ruger BX, a Timney, a Kidd stage 2, a Brimstone and a VQ.

the ruger is not bad for the money.
its not a Timney or a Kidd but for $100 its not bad, definitely a step up from the stock one for sure.
they should really just start putting them in all their guns from the factory and save a lot of people.

I have a hard time paying Ruger extra to put in a trigger that should be there to start with. A Vq or Kidd or Dlask kit or full replacement is a better step imho. Kidd 2 stage will be on my next rifle.

I recently installed a BX. Having never tried an aftermarket trigger all I can compare it
to is my stock one. Its waaaay better than my stock one. My gun is apx 3 yrs old with
apx 8000 rnds thru it. I give it the thumbs up.

I'm no connoisseur of triggers but for me it was a noticeable improvement from the stock trigger and worth it for me for the $100 odd bucks. I'm giving it a thumbs up.

I bought one a year ago. Definitely better than the stock trigger. Every 10/22 should come with it stock, but i guess its to keep costs down. I dont have an aftermarket trigger to compare it to, but it has a decent break. If i had another 10/22, it would be the first thing id put in it, until i can get something better.

I bought one at Cabelas but you need to try as many as they have on the rack as they are not the same. I got the salesman to get a trigger pull gauge to test the five they had and they varied from 2 7/8 to 4 1/8 lbs. I purchased the lightest one and installed it in my take down. Not bad for the money. I have a Volquartsen in my mannlicher stocked 10/22 and there is no comparison but you get what you pay for. It would be nice to see Ruger install the BX in all their guns but it is just another marketing ploy.
