Hi Guys,
So I have a Ruger SR-22 and I'm trying to doll it up on a budget. The charging handle is made for elves, judging by the size of it. If I grind it down a bit and silver solder on a piece of steel tube to make a new profile of about 3/8" diameter and about 1" projecting out the side of the rifle, would that extra weight adversely affect the function of the bolt?
As always, thanks to all who share their wisdom.
