10/22 Chassis Options

I would like to build a short and lightweight 10/22 with a Enoch/Deep Six chassis...

I'm pretty sure no one ever imported one of these in Canada.

What is the minimum barrel length to achieve NR status? I was looking at the Midwest Industries 8" with an 8" barrel + linear comp to clear the forend. I'd set it up with a standard buffer tube and Magul Moe, if anyone has a similar setup, please chime in on your overall length.

Cheers

where does one find some of these options in stock.Have been looking in Canada and alot of the cheapish options (ati ar 22 ,Archangel .troy)seem to be out of stock.Anybody got a good place to find these, that are actually in stock?

Chassis's, gotta get one, they make those killer rimfires accurate out to 50 m. I just cant shoot wood anymore, way too inaccurate for me, but with a chassis I can become the super sniper of my dreams and the cool looks I will get at the range, what a waste of money. Better things to spend money on, like food or ammunition.

No help for the US brands, but the ones labelled Canadian are available directly from their manufacturers. I just got an SBI chassis and was blown away when I had it in my hands 2 days after ordering. Unfortunately the buttstock (from somewhere else) is not here, so I can't use the chassis yet. Well... I guess I could take something apart, but that seems a shame.

Midwest Industries Fixed Barrel chasis 13"
Midwest Industries Picatinny Rail
SR-22 Receiver and bolt
Factory trigger
DLASK 16.5" heavy barrel (.920)
KIDD Charging Handle
KIDD Recoil Spring and Polished Guide Rod
Pinned BX-25 mag
*and a bunch of take off AR parts

If i remember right it's 26" oal for a rim fire, if the barrel is shorter. I saw a gsg16 with a 8-9" rlask barrel but the stock had to be pinned to keep the OAL 26"

New chassis for my custom 10/22.

Yes it folds. I'm surprised they don't have extras of them.

I ordered a longer forend from their website for my chassis... the colour is far , far off... than my chassis.....

beware don't order separate chassis part...

Grey Birch MFG customer service is horrible, they ignored me, lied to me, fooled me. Be careful...

Not the first time i have hard time with this business.

Good luck.....
