10/22 Cleaning Hole. Finally Did It

Just finished drilling my receiver, has been on the list of things to do for a long while now. I double, triple and quadruple checked the measurement and alignment done the bore and ended up drilling my hole 0.825” from bottom of receiver to centre of hole. Worked out perfect. Was a little concerned about the discrepancy from noted measurement, glad I trusted my measurement!

Wow. I wonder, is there 10/22 receivers of differing dimensions? .775 on my rifle lined up with the bore perfectly. I wonder why yours and mine were different?

Which is why you replace bore snakes before they break. Usually every 1-2 years depending on use.

I broke a bore snake in my service rifle, overseas. And was fairly new. The gun plumber that removed it, is a mod here. But now I know the trick to remove them.
