hello i have an heavy 20" barrel and synthetic stock for a 10/22 but i don't have the reciever or internals. wondering where i could purchase a fully assembled reciever or maybe it would just be cheaper to but a new one and have a spare stock and barrel? any information would be greatly appreciated.
 
You can try the EE but unfortunately no one carries stripped 10/22 receivers/actions in Canada. The general procedure is to buy a complete 10/22 and part out the extras.
 
Hi there. Welcome. I would recommend buying a new 10/22 and get the cheapest one you can find. I think they can be had for $220-250 if you shop around. Then you can sell the barrel and stock that comes with it and make a few $$$ back.
