Bolt keeps slamming closed on spent brass, when i rapid fire i can also notice the brass ejecting closer and closer to me until it just jams. New extractor would probably help, but from where? anyone knows where to get good 10/22 accessories in Canada?

Questar and Wanstalls have few 10/22 accessories. I got my extractor from wanstalls. Also, try higher quality ammo. Mine has a bull barrel and its very picky. Likes only the best stuff but its very accurate.

Take the factory extractor out and clean it or replace it with a volquartsen you can buy it from sSylvester s in bonnyville or milarm in Edmonton.

I got mine from Hical, but I'd go though milarms next time. They are great and better prices. Questar also has 10/22 stuff. Yes a new extractor will help.
Have you upgraded the charging handle and or spring?

If the round count is still low, you might be having ammo issues or the gun is dirty. Did you take out the guts and give them a good cleaning?

also, a friend of mine suggested polishing the chamber, which makes sense; if there's any rough spots or imperfections in the chamber it could be making it more difficult for the extractor to yank the spent round from the chamber, causing it to get caught in the closing bolt. I have yet to try this, but will when i have it apart to install the extractor.

I did the same thing, night and day difference. I upgraded the charging handle with a power customs one. Like it but IMO added abit more weight. Keeping an eye on the wear on the bolt.
Yes polishing the inside of the receiver and bolt does help.
The bolt buffer swap is a MUST. Wish I had done it first thing!

Not an extractor issue, clean the rifle and/or use hotter ammo. The extractor does not eject the spent casing, the ejector does and if the bolt has insufficient velocity when it hits then you will have ejection issues. If it is rechambering the spent casing then it is not even hitting the ejector. It could also be over lubed with a lube that doesn't work well in the cold.

I had the same issue as him and it was my extractor I pulled it out and cleaned it and it was good to go again I have a volquartsen on stand by again.

Brand new from Cabelas bought it a month ago. I thought i was having feeding issues with my gsg drum, but even steel lipped bc's are jamming, hell even the factory 10 rounder jammed it up
Ive tried every .22lr under the sun and its the same problem with all ammo types.
And yes i cleaned/oiled it soon as i got it.

I'm also having a similar problem with an aftermarket barrel. Except my bolt won't slam back closed, the fired case sticks about half way out and the bolt gets stuck in the most rearward position trying to load the next round. I'll try a different extractor and see if that helps. It worked fine with the factory barrel so not sure what's up yet. I'm using federal bulk ammo and factory 10 round mag

seems that i have another problem... after i chamber a round and shoot, the next round will get picked up from the magazine, but the bolt will not go into full battery.

The whole bolt will just rest on the rim of the round. If i give the charging handle a little tap the bolt will slide into full battery and i can hear an audible *click* of the extractor going over the rim.

Talked to Ruger Canada, they wont send me new parts, they want to check it out for themselves... total bs if you ask me.
