10/22 extractor

when i first got my 10/22 it never quite extracted right, it would jam at least once every ten rds. i tried everything i could think of to fix it but seeing as when i went to shoot it last time it started jamming every single round when i took it apart that night to see if i could finally see the problem the entire extractor assembly was gone, spring, claw, plunger everything. has this happened to anybody else and where could i find a new one? i live in langley bc if anybody knows anywhere i could get it around here

Sounds like a warranty issue to me. Extractor should not free itself, ever. If warranty is not an option, I'd deal with Dave at hical.ca

that would be awesome, as i said the entire assembly came out, how would i go about getting that on the order?
