it now contains
volquartsen everything listed,
920. stainlessbarrel
houge overmould stock
barrel scope mount
match hammer and sear
disconnector
match trigger
extracter
bolt buffer
mag release
and easily made auto bolt release.

i cant belive the trigger on her now. i think its even lighter than the savage accutrigger.:D

Sounds great!! It really is amazing with these guns how a little change (i.e chaning the hammer) can make such a difference - like wise in changing the barrel. Looking forward to pics (BTW: For posting pics just sign up at photobucket.com and you can upload pics preatty easy there)

so you wouldn't recommend the ruger 10/22 for out of the box accuracy? the ruger kept coming up with the CZ 452 for accuracy but if you are not exagerating the accuracy of your 10/22 out of the box you may have saved me some serious frustration

Do you mind sharing what the approximate cost was all-in? I'm planning on doing the same

My 10/22 has always has plenty enough accuracy to tag a gopher reliably out to 100 yards. However, this was with optics and being fed what it likes (Win PP).

got it all in multiple orders so it came to around 490. but its like a new gun.
oh yea the stock was shipped free from rimfire with a few others included.

with i think wolf 22. or american eagle? it was a red box, it was about the size of a small water melon at 50! with federal i could hit a cantalope. and with remington it was more like fist sized. could never get it to do anygood. keep in mind im not a great shooter. my best with a scoped savage 30-06 at 100y is 1.5"

next on the list is mabye a vq bolt and custom bolt handle

im workin on pics now.

I have a 10/22 as well, shoots terrible, pie plate at 50 yrds, tried everything I could think of but nothing worked, looks like now I have to scratch up $500...:)

I have the same set-up, but with a Green Mountain fluted barrel.

Love it.

The only thing I am considering is one of the extended mag release:
