Probably been asked before, but don't have time to search.....Where is the best place to get my hands on some high cap 10/22 mags (brownells canceled my order due to state regulations).....AND who has the best reputation for making the best high cap mags for the 10/22? Butler Creek? Thanks in advance! :D

I just received three Buttler creek steel lips mags from Rimfiresports.
Took a couple of weeks to get here but well worth it.

I just noticed you are from Penticton Me too.

+ 1000000005646874587 on the tactical inovations mags.. i got 3 of the polymer mags.. got them right from the tac inc website . they do ship to canada and i belive you can get a maximum of 3 or 4 at one time.. fairly cheap and will never break or jam

Tactical Innovations.com

The will sell you 2 each to keep it under $100.00 US, highly recommended. Buy from the manufacturer, no need to go through a distributor in Canada.

I think the issue is that they can export items that had a "cost-to-manufacture" of less than $100.00; that is why they can ship up to 4 to Canada. Correct me if I'm wrong?

wss in kamloops had a couple of boxes of steel lips. If they dont want to ship pm me and we can work something out. Or get the TI mags and be happy for life.

you are correct the limit is $100 wholesale. i believe their site says thay can ship 4 of the polymer ones or two of the aluminum. Since their polymer ones are much better than the butler creek ones -even the steel lips - and are only a few $$ more the choice is obvious to me at least.

BC Steel Lips

I just bought a BC Steel Lips 25rd and let me say what a piece of crap!

I have used it a couple of times - jam-o-matic. Now the ####ty spring is binding in the mag body and the follower won't return it just gets stuck. I will never buy BC again. To hit or miss, my buddies 10/22 shoots ok (just ok) with a 6 yr old Hot Lips. Go figure.

I'll try the Tactical Innovations when I get a couple spare bucks to spend. For now I'll stick to the stock Ruger mags.

I just got 4 of the polymer TI mags and once they're adjusted they work like a charm plus the service was awesome, ordered on Monday from a very nice lady, at my door on the other side of the country by Thursday.

Butler Creek experience: One magazine has been absolutely flawless in function for 10 years so far.

One magazine has not worked from day one in my rifle. Retailer, to his credit, test fired the magazine in his rifle, and it worked fine. It doesn't, however, work at all in my 10/22.

So, 50% of the time, Butler Creek has worked for me.
