10/22 improvements...advice needed

Reading through this section has inspired me to improve my old 10/22
that has been spending most of it's time in the gun cabinet.
Where are some good place's to shop for barrel's, stock's etc?
What make of barrel would some of you suggest? I will not be using it competitively, just plinking, hunting etc. Any advice would be apreciated.
