Consistent jamming and frequently does not cycle. Happens on a variety of ammo. Any cures? This rifle is quite new.

The Ruger 10/22's are well designed & should work well. I just bought one & after a few jams in the first 50 rounds, it is fine now.
I would suggest a good cleaning followed by a good lube & then also try another mag.

What type of jams? New bullet smashed into 12 o'clock position on breach, 6 o'clock position or spent brass getting stuck in with a new round?

First two are usually a mag problem, last one is often a cleaning issue, or metal swarf or crap on the bolt rails.

Also, dont shoot too fast. As the little .22's can get stuck if you are shooting the rifle really fast.

Good cleaning after every range visit helps aswell.

A good cleaning, some dri-lube (I use remington's) and some CCI mini-mags. I went through abot 200 of them today and they feed beautifully. Stingers cylced well as did velocitors. Blazers and AE's were so-so.

I switched out the stock and had trouble with the trigger pin coming out on one half of the gun/reciever or w/e. It is for sure a jam, rihgt?

Never a jam but I have so far only used CCI Minimags. Am trying a whole s**tload of other brands to see what she likes but the CCI would work just fine I think. Im just curious. Have about 400 rounds through it and not a whimper yet. Shoots good right out of the box.

As just mentioned clean it well. I had not cycling problem after around 8000 rounds. I never cleaned the trigger mechanism. After I cleaned it was like new again. Btw needs high velocity as formentioned.
