10/22 laser max

Has anyone tried the new laser max for a 10 22 . And where would be a good place to get one

Handled one today at Cabelas in Regina. New one on me, didn't know they made them. The laser in the front would be ok, the tiny rails not so much. If I recall the price was $429

gobbles in London has 1 or 2 oops sorry they have the hole rifle. you may be able to look at the book and get the part # and order?

I would look at getting a promag barrel band with weaver rails on it, and just mount the laser on that, plus you can put flashlight on to. I was going to put on my takedown when I got it back from warranty, but Canada post doesn't know where it is, The lasermax has rails but they are plastic.

High Cal has the promag barrel bands I think around $40or 50.

The laser in the Ruger is neatly tucked in the front. If the little side rails could be removed, it would be a clean fore end, just the laser peeking out, no junk hanging on a sporter type rifle.
