I need a tactical ergos stock for a 10/22. Nomad is WAY too heavy for action shooting. 5.56 requires that top rail or it'll come loose. I need something a lot lighter than Nomad that will allow me to use the metal rail that I attached to the top of the receiver. Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys

Hical is bringing in some underfold stocks, mfr website says they're 2.8 lbs. I weighed my birch stock and it is 2.75 lbs. They use AK grips and come with a Hogue AK grip. I've found a couple reviews from the states that were all positive.
Thanks for the tips. How's the ATI weight-wise? How does it put together? Anything that threads into plastic or all screws screw into metal? Can I use a top rail with it? I like the adjustable stock and the bottom rail to put up an afg.
A Pic rail screwed into the top of the receiver so I can mount a SPARC on it. That was why I should have done a bit more research on the Archangel.
You see how that rail (pictured at the very top of the pic) connects the rear part of the stock with the quad rail? That has 2 negative consequences for me:
1) I don't trust a plastic rail for mounting optics for competition use
2) I don't trust it to hold zero and I plan to be taking that rifle down often enough for it to be a hassle
It's a nice stock system for plinking, but not if you wanna be scoring points against people who shoot matches 1-2 times a month. By the way if anyone wants an unused 556 pm me an offer - I even kept the silly knife-shaped thingie lol

All I need is a stock so I can finish the project. Well I might be amenable to a trigger and a few other tidbits, most likely not a bull barrel.
Who carries the crapcos? I don't mind the one on my SKS, really fixed the ergos on that rifle. Axiom is also a very promising one. I don't care about the tacticoolness as long as the ergos are there. Thanks for all the tips guys. Keep'em coming.

I like. Just emailed Jerry to see if he has m4-style, otherwise I'll take the m1-style and rig up some spacers. Never thought my first purchase from him would be for a rimfire rifle accessory lol
I have a Ruger 10/22 Matt Black painted WOOD stock with an old school Eagle barrel shroud (Eagle shroud is worth $30 alone IF you can fine them)
It has a couple dings etc., but a great stock for making an EVIL black rifle!

Already got in touch with Jerry (so far no surprises - excellent service as expected), but thanks. Needed something with adjustable LOP and loved the reviews so far. Blackhawk Axiom was reviewed as too flimsy, Tapco as rattly, already voiced my informed opinions of the Archangel offerings. If I was just gonna use it for plinking, I would have kept my 556. Looks great, feels great, but with the frequent maintenance, adjustments and my sight-mounting choices, it just doesn't meet the needs of an IPSC shooter.

Maybe but I prefer to support a CGN dealer and based on the e-mail received, they should have some in stock. If they don't, definitely contacting the mfgr directly. Thanks for the heads up on the option.

(not to be confused with SS Evolution by Boyd).
It does not matter if it is gen 1 or 2.
You could be asked to pay big bux though.
The RB Precision was a strong chunk of aluminum that accepted AR grip and stock
and could be customized. A good platform, but I am not sure if it meets your weight requirements.
