10/22 magazine options for a bolt gun guy out of the loop

Thanks for chiming-in barrett50cal! Gun is a T/CR22, I have the original mag for that, a Ruger BX-10 (new) and another on the way. Gun is so light that I'm really thinking I may just run the 10-rounders.

Anyone have one of the 10/22 mag loaders/unloaders from Maglula? Have a set en-route, never loved loading those 10/22 mags back when I had an actual 10/22. lol

Another option for a “duo” is the “Doublekross” from Tandemkross. I own some and like them. They’re a little tricky to put together though — you’re reassembling the guts of two factory mags into the Tandemkross proprietary body (see video below).

I also have an Alangator Trimag coupler — tried to like it, but not a fan. Heavy and cumbersome, the novelty wears off quick. YMMV.

Here’s a pic of mine (Alangator Trimag and Tandemkross Double):

Here’s a vid for anyone curious about the Tandemkross double:

Strange — I know CSC, Bullseye, and Wanstalls carry Tandemkross (off the top of my head) but I don’t see it at those stores either.

Maybe shoot their Customer Service emails a note and ask? Nobody down here stocks Cadex C7/C8 rails regularly, but I found a shop that regularly sells other offerings from them and was kind enough to slipstream a "special order" for me into his next order for the store--point here is sometimes you can get help if you ask for it, but if you never ask you never get to "yes". :)

AG Duo is less clunky than the Tri even though you still have a little fiddling to assemble it--but it's just three pieces and the Duo doesn't appreciably add much--about 3/16" space between mags.
