10/22 mags and Difference between Hot Lips and Steel Lips

Hot lips= annoying to load
Steel lips= easy to load

Both shoot finein 10/22.

Go with the steel lip mags. Isn't it sad we have do go through this when there is a way better option with the BX25, but our stupid mag laws prohibit them.

Its sucks bad for me, i would have kept my 10/22 if i had those mags. She wouldnt feed from anything other than a rotary 10 rounder. I tried EVERY SINGLE aftermarket mag in canada except the bx25 got fed up and sold the ruger.

I have the steel lips, mine are new and jams every 5th round or so... hopefully it gets better after a few hundred rounds........

I have 4,steel lips ones and they all run flawlessly.
