10/22 makeover

picked up a krinker plinker kit a while ago and couldn't bring myself to wreck the stock by welding it open, and definately didn't want it to be restricted. Decided to do this instead. It was quite a bit of work but i think it looks better now. Best of all, it can go anywhere with me.

It is a little odd...you need an SKS upper to make that look right,and i realize it's for ergonomics but the angle on the butt looks horrible

Beautiful work! The stock angle is off, and pistol grip should be wood to match the rest but it's probably a great shooter since there is no recoil, stock angle is almost a non issue with the red-dot.

its just a regular krinker plinker kit but i added wood ak furniture to it. it was quite a bit of work to get everything to fit but it wasn't hard really, just time consuming.
the angle of the stock is a little weird looking i guess, but it brings the sight up nice and high. i like it.

eagle 30 rounder. they suck for the most part, but feed federal bulk hp's fairly well. glad i only paid $8US for them. got 6 tactical innovations composite mags on they way. i hear they're pretty good

I love it too! But I think it needs more.
I would try to figure out how you could modify a standard AK mag to fit onto the 10/22 magazine well. And I would figure out how to get a bunch of .22's into there.

If you could figure that out, I'd pay $150 for a working mag. It'd look awesome.

I have used mags (airsoft) as shells for a .22. The Ruger 10/22 mags are just too darn wide. You could attach a mag shell to the bottom of a 10 round rotary mag tho.

Your magazine looks ridiculous in my opinion. An eagle 10 round would look better IMHO. Or just something a bit shorter perhaps.

The angle is wierd, but I didn't even notice it at first.
