10/22 Mares Leg??? Just a thought.

Just wonder if anyone ever tried to make one. I was thinking a Dlask and a cut down plastic stock. Any thoughts?

"Cutting down" a 96/22? There aren't that many to be found.

you cant alter the length of a firearm like that below 26" , or youre creating either a restricted or prohib device (not sure which one) if the 96/22 came with a short barrel and short stock youd be golden.

the entire premise with the mares leg is that it cant be operated with one hand, thus making it a rifle, not a pistol, the 10/22 can be operated with one hand, so the charger series of pistols isnt seen as a rifle by the CFC.....even though ive seen bolt action pistols classified as restrictexd
