10 22 parts

US post office
I don’t use courier
Border Services did the math
So, parts are going to get even more expensive than before tariffs became an issue

A friend forges stuff for downhole oil drilling. He ordered a load of steel from USA that was shipped after lord Cheeto’s tariffs were imposed and Canada of course matched the tariffs… added $25,000 to the cost. Tariffs were calculated on top of the price after exchange, brokerage fees and gst are calculated.

I think that if you need something to fix or rebuild a firearm, buy it
Because tariffs are making things even more expensive, basically a $1.38 $,
GST, Duty, Postage, in some cases import fees, plus tariffs

I wonder with these tariffs, we got so much powder production up here in Canada.

Will American ammunition producers switch to American powders? Will that cause a big surplus in Canada and we will see lower prices? (As long as they start packing the powder in Canada)

I just paid $56.00 duty and taxes on $50.00 cdn worth of ruger barrel bands and screws!
Try Dlask Arms next time, also Gun Post, they usually have a ton of 10/22 stuff listed. Amazon also carries a limited number of accessories. These day's you have to find inventive ways to skin a cat.

This is interesting. Is it just gun parts, or other stuff as well? Reason I ask, I ordered a shooting vest off eBay about two months ago shipping from the US, vest made in China. It shipped quickly, but then got stuck with Canada customs for a whole month for further inspection as they saw "shooting" in the description. It finally got through and delivered, package was inspected, but nothing more for tax or any other charges, so it seems sporadic what they are or aren't charging for. Or, maybe I just got lucky...
