It's almost a rifle. Thought you guys may appreciate the Cerakote job Red Tower did on this chassis.

It has been ages since I spent some time looking through this thread. Many pages have been added since I last looked. There are an amazing variety of different configurations of 10/22s. Some really cool and unique 10/22s in the last 1442 posts!

Many of the older posts, mine included, have broken links to pictures. So here are pictures of just some of my past 10/22 builds:

My favourite, possibly the only one I will never sell and the only 10/22 I have been able to successfully complete the 1/2" challenge with:

And a bunch of others:

Just picked up my first 10/22. A backpacker take down model. Wanted it for range days via motorcycle and for out in the bush plinking when I on my off roading trips. I also have a Browning SA22 that can functionally do the same but well it’s too Purdy and is a heirloom so the Ruger was purchased.

Threw on a bushnell tr25 red dot for now and also have a Vortex crossfire II 2-7x32 if I want as well.

Nice build! How does the last shot hold open bolt work?

After the last shot, the bolt is held back by a stop. You re work your trigger group for it, and the matching bolt has a notch it catches on to stop it. Load fresh mag and short pull to release the bolt into full battery.
Works real slick. One shot, two shots, or however many in the mag, once empty the hold open feature kicks in.

Stock is a direct order out of the US, Crazy Ivan.

Barrel special order through RDCS in Red Deer. They don't show the bull barrel on their site, but were able to order it in for me.

Thank you. Found the Crazy Ivan website. Like far too many American vendors, they don't have any clear notice of whether they do or don't ship to Canada, but knowing they've done it already gives hope they'll do it again.

Looks like RDSC has a bunch of interesting pieces too. Always good to expand the range of 10/22 parts available to inspire a next build!
