Thanks! I am getting lots of great feedback from people who see it in person. I added in my original post that details can be found in the album. I also forgot to mention that I cut down the original stock myself and inlet-ed the barrel channel to fit the new barrel.

My take on what the offspring of a C8 CQB and a SR-22 would look like:

Not much left to do on this - just need to mount the FSB sling swivel and maybe a rear iron sight.

Some of your best work yet! I just LOVE it... she for sale?

I would have went carry handle rear sight myself and no optic.

Yeah, its funny you say that. I was holding off posting the pic because I'm not feelin' the TRS-32 (plus I took it off my 10.5" bbl SR). I'm thinking on an iron sight for the rear, and maybe an airsoft Eotech 552 further down the rail? As I was going for a C8 CQB, the carry handle didn't quite fit in with the final look.

Something like this for the rear:

actually, it doesn't look like there would be enough room for the rear sight and an eotech...

Here's my first 10/22 build.. Purpose-built for IPSC mini-rifle. Didn't think a lighter barrel was worth the extra cash and she's light enough the way she is. Still missing an extended mag release, a bolt tuneup kit and the TRS-25 will eventually be replaced with a Vortex SPARC, but I'd feel comfortable running a match with her the way she is. Choate M4 stock, charging handle, utg rail, delrin bolt stop, DIY trigger job (down to 2.75lbs from about 5.5), DIY auto bolt release, don't wanna run a sling - more trouble than its worth on an IPSC gun.

My new 10/22 build. Still need to replace the stock with a Laminate one but here it is as it sits today.

New trigger and mag release is next on the list to do.

Pretty slick! Is that a TI mag? If so how do they run for ya? Also, where do you shoot in the peg? I'm a multi range/club member... Maybe see ya around sometime.

Thanks, the TI mags run really well once you get them properly adjusted for your rifle. Love the fact that they are so easy to take apart and clean out. Right now I mostly shoot at Extreme and Selkirk when weather permits, you?
