Im thinking about getting a 10/22 but i was wondering can you just buy the standard model and then in the future change the stock then the barrel ?
Im asking because i have a tight budget and i would have to slow buy items.

Thanks C

Yes, you can change the stock, barrel and other components as you see fit, there are many aftermarket parts for the 10-22.

Yes, you can.
That is the road travelled by most of the people who own 10/22's.

PS ....And people, please, pretty please with sugar on top and all that,
it's "10/22", not "10-22" for fcuk sakes, goddamit...
Good luck with your project :)

You don't have to change anything. It's a decent and fun firearm as is. I used mine as is for 18 years before I changed anything.

If you can, buy a 10/22T and then change barrels/stocks later. Or you could stick to a sporter barrel and use the same style stock with better barrels.

Changing from a sport barrel to a target barrel usually means a new stock too or at least some serious mods to an original wood stock.

I can say that tripping out a 10/22 isn't any less expensive than saving up and buying a match grade target gun and the two still wouldn't compare.

fixed thank you.......lol

I bought the cheapest model that Wholesale Sports carries, then put it into a Krinker Plinker kit. If your asking whether the barrel can be switched out, you really haven't done your homework yet have you? Here's a BEFORE and AFTER of my build just to show you the possibilities.
