10-22 Recoil Buffers

From what I hear they work very well. Others I hope post positive results. I was supposed to receive a couple of samples when they first came into production as I was interested in selling them here in Alberta, but I must have slipped through the cracks as they never came in the mail.

Here's another opinion.....;)

You can feel safe buying this product and dealing with Ronin (I Guarantee That!)

instead of the bolt slamming into a metal stop, you replace the metal with a synthetic material to soften the stopping of the bolt when fired.

Sorry for my ignorance but what does this part do exactly?

GIGGIDY is right.
When you fire your rifle, the bolt recoils and is stopped by hitting the "stock" metal stop pin, thus creating metal on metal contact and shock vibration.
This not only creates an annoying "clank" but also passes the energy created into your receiver and optics.
The buffer replaces the stock metal pin and will protect your receiver and optics by absorbing and dispersing the damaging shock associated with the metal to metal contact during firing.
It also directly improves accuracy, quietness and sight recovery......:sniper:

Would a buffer like these not be cheaper for Ruger to install, rather than a steel pin ?...If they have all these benefits, why don't they do it ?

They could bulk buy them for pennies I bet.

Same as extended mag releases. It's a wonder they haven't adapted these changes to current models
