10-22 red dot

Hi folks, i just bought an ati ar style kit for a 10-22 i have, just to peak interest in the younguns, got it at green diamond clearance for $68! Does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpnsive but ok quality red dot for this or even an ar style scope! Thanks for aNy suggestions! Cheers Bob

My current set up uses a Primary Arms micro red dot with lower 1/3 co-witnessed Tech Sights.
Very happy with the set up. Dot is nice and tight.

So I see them on flea bay for 40-50 bucks but normal prices at sponsors are $100-$$150. Wondering if the eBay are knock offs!

I have trs 25 on mine too. The dot works, but it’s blobby. Is it just mine?

I've tried $20 to $600 red dots, including the TRS-25, and they were all blobby until I realized it was me and not the sights. I have better than 20/20 vision so I had never considered it could be me until I stumbled upon a post about astigmatism, which causes blurring of the red dot. Cross hair, chevron or triangle reticle aren't affected (as much) by the condition.

Anyway, the TRS-25 is a great sight for the money. You have to spend about 3 times as much in my experience to get to the next level, something not always desirable for a cheap plinker. YMMV

Really cheap red dot sights are useless due to parallax.
