10/22 replacement parts

Okay, being the idiot that I am, I lost the spring/plunger for the safety on my ruger 10/22. It shot into my ceiling and I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know where I can find replacements for these? Does anyone know if the "extended safety" on the hawktecharms website comes with the spring/plunger?

Hi there Ratzilla,

I have always had good luck with Numrich (E gun parts) in the states. They carry thousands of parts for many guns and I think you will be able to find a plunger there. There is also a shop in edmonton (Forget the name but I am sure some one will chime in here soon with their info) that has lots of parts.

However, keep in mind that there are allternatives to the plunger. Check on Rimfire central for various different DIY meathods as to different ways you can reset the trigger. I used a small wire (and to tell you the truth I forget exactly how I did it) which not only reset the trigger reliablly each time but also lowered trigger weight.

would you be referring to Western Gun Parts on west end just north of WEM? They usually have lots of parts available
