10/22 rocks!

I've got a whistle pig on mine, and I'll tell you, that made a HUGE difference. that barrel was the only thing I needed to turn it into "one hole monster" at 25 yds. Heck, might even be the case at 50 yards with quality ammo. This spring I had it out and dumped 2 boxes of yellowjackets (they fed/cycled fine...contrary to previous readings) and on that day, 93 gophers were eliminated from our farm yard. granted most were within a 50 yard range, but there were a few taken at greater then that. I will NEVER give up this rifle...shes my mini-lead spitting banshee #####, and I love her just the way she is ;)

Heres what my bonestock 10/22 id out of the box with a cheap 4x32 bushnell. Sold it to Casull in a weak moment.

Here's mine. It's a sleeper as well. Looks like a stock 10-22T, but internally, it isn't....here's the mods I've done to it:

chamfered bolt, pinned firing pin, VQ Exact Edge Extractor, VQ Extended mag catch, VQ Target trigger with overtravel adjustment, VQ target hammer, modified bolt latch, nylon bolt buffer, moly fusioned bore, hex head takedown screw, Tasco 2.5-10x42MM Mildot AO scope....10rds under a dime at 50M with it without hardly trying, but a heavy beast to carry....

Here's the stainless hunter:

AMT 25-22 with 22" tapered barrel, Ruger deluxe wooden stock, Nylon bolt buffer, and a stainless 1" tube Tasco 3-9x32mm Rimfire Scope....it is completely Stainless Steel.....right on down to the mag button!.....I've already added a VQ Exact Edge Extractor and a VQ Extended Mag Catch as well as chamfering the bolt and pinning the firing pin. it's not the tack driver the T is, but it still kills grouse easily at 50M without effort...
