I'm trying to find a see through Weaver type scope mount for my 10/22 which will allow me to use the iron sights also.
A previous poster had mentioned Power Custom ?? but i can't locate such an animal. Cabella's have a Pro Mag but they will not send it to Canada.
Any suggestions of what and where?

10/22 scope mounts

I have a new in package set of see throughs for the dove tail rail on a 10/22.Purchased at Gander Mountain for $13.99.For $14.00 plus shipping you can have them.
 
My Power Custom bases are not see through and given their height, I doubt you could still use the factory iron sights....

I think Weaver makes some see through rings that do not require a base and still allow for the use of the factory iron sights.
 
I think I have some bases with ring built into them, see through for the 10/22(look realy odd). I forget the make, or even if I have them still... I may have sold them, or I may be thinking of something else.
 
ebay.com has lot. Just search for 10/22 mount.

They look like tall picatiny mounts. You can see the sights down through the centre of the rail.

Checked out EBay and they do have lots at reasonable prices but I thought it was illegal for the Americans to ship mounts to Canada ? Some of the EBay listings actually say they ship to Canada then in the description of the item they say only in the USA ?
