I have a 10/22 with a 12" Dlask heavy barrel, I'm wondering if there are and open sight options for this? I know I would have to have a front sight installed, but what are the options for the rear sight? I would prefer a receiver, peep sight. Has anybody done something similar? Any pictures? Thanks in advance.

I forget where, but I have seen a .920 barrel sleeve that will let you install a dovetail site on a dlask or any other .920 barrel.
Check the rimfire pics thread. There is a picture of a setup like the one your trying for.
Personally I would go for a tech sites. But those may be hard to come by now a days.

I tried ordering a front and read Nodak sights from Brownells and they(Nodak Spud) do not have an export permit, however the front sight was still shipped to me by mistake... whoops. I bought tech sight TSR100 and installed the rear and traded the front for some labor to move a pile of lumber.
