Looking to change the basic stock on my 10/22 and have my choices narrowed down to four stock:

1. Magpul X-22.
2. Victor Titan
3. Boyd's Tacticool
4. ProMag Archangel Ruger 10/22 Rifle Stock Polymer Black AAP1022

So far, I'm leaning towards the Magpul or pro mag since both fit either the reg or bull barrel, not sure about the Boyd's or titan

Looking to see if anyone has experience with any of these and if you know where I could get the (maybe someone has a used one)

I have the Victor Titan and can tell you that it definitely is a stiffer chassis than the Magpul stock. This isn't a scientific test by any means, but it will give you an idea. Order it from the company if you are going to buy one.

Personally, I really like the Magpul, its got a great feeling to me. However, that Victor Titan looks promising, I would love to get my hands on one and give it a whirl!

i put a magpull X-22 backpacker on my stainless take down and I am very happy with it. comfort and accuracy are significantly inproved. It can with high and low cheek plates and can hold three 10 round mags under the cheek piece. highly recommended

I have the ProMag Archangel Ruger 10/22 Rifle Stock Polymer Black AAP1022. Nice comfortable stock. Rigid. Can't use iron sights with it if that is a consideration. Have had it for a few years and would buy again. Most of the people who have tried it also like it...and it is my daughters favourite.

All this talk about stocks for the 10/22 got me thinking, anybody played with the Fab Defense?

I have a Magpul X22 hunter with medium cheek riser which is my fav. Victor has better feedback but the price w/cheek riser plus shipping from USA is much higher than Magpul.

I have a fab defense. Solid. Shoulders well and is comfortable to hold. Only complaint is the grip is a little short. Also, for a deep cleaning you have several screws to take the pic rail off before you can pull the receiver out.

Expensive but your 10/22 will be a completely new rifle.
