I read a review about the FS556 and also the Archangel but I wonder if anybody has used the Evolution before ?
I also see people talking about the Nordic.
How do they all compare to each other, any one of them much better than the other ?

As far as I know all 4 of them are available in Canada.
Any other cool Tactical mods available to us ?
Maybe post some Canadian online stores that sells these.

Also post some pics of your own Tactical 10/22's

Arch angel is a hard plastic vs the FS5556 and Evo. I believe the Nordic and FS556 will require a hand guard (barrel shroud, not sure what they are called) over the evo. I have been looking at the Evo for that reason, less parts to buy. But Im not leaning more to the Nordic or FS556.
 
I just bought the archangel myself. It comes in two varieties, the standard for $235 which includes everything in that above picture except the scope, stubby forward grip, extended mag release and surrpressor. There is an advanced kit that includes the extended mag release, and a set of flip up sights, and also a bayonet (which i personally don't like the look of). The standard kit comes with the bayonet too i think actually

I like this kit over the others you mentioned because I think it looks cooler, it includes the buttstock, hand guard (which i really like), and rear pistol grip. The only bad thing i've read about it is that the fit sucks and requires lots of sanding and tinkering to get the action and barrel to fit properly. There is a ton of threads on this stock here.

Waiting on a retro style handgaurd, and a few more things.

If you are looking for a nordic stock Email Fabsports, I think he MAY get some if there is enough intrest..I have had or held most all 1022 tactical stocks and this one IMO is the best. It is a little more money but well worth it..

I got from a fella that lives close to the border, he has a PO box I believe. Nordics are %100 American, Fabsports May get some if people bug him enough;). It is the same stock as the new ruger sr22 (Nordic exclusive) which isn't allowed in Canada because its scary..
this one is NON-RESTRICTED the OAL is a little over 30" well within the legal limitof 26" for rimfire.
The Barrel is a Dlask 12" non fluted, I do like this barrel!!:D I should have this project done in a few weeks..still need a delta ring, hangaurd, handgaurd cap, carry handle. I am trying too keep it simple and as "retro" AR as possible..oh and NON RESTRICTED., can't wait to get this sucker done..

BTW I have been looking and saving for almost a year for these parts..When it comes down to it, you WILL have to do ALOT of searching and spending a little money..:redface: but its like any other hobby for me, take time to get exactly what you want. You are on the right track by coming on here and asking lots of questions!!

Damn that barrel looks short .... I dont remember this but what is the min lenth of a barrel to stay non restricted and what is the min over all lenth of the gun for that ?
 
Here's a picture of my Evolution. I've gone through a number of different optics on it, and am currently using a Bushnell T dot or a Leupold clone with adjustable turrets.

That is a very nice evolution ... its all metal right ?
Any regreats about buying the evolution and not maybe some of the other tactical mods available ?
I know price wise the evolution is pretty expesive because it dont even come with the butt stock

Yes, its all metal. About the only thing to go wrong would be if you overtightened and stripped the screws on the foreend top half.

Sometimes I think I would have preferred to get a stock that allows for a tubular floating foreend like I have on my heavy barrel AR. As well, and I can't compare it to other setups, but with this heavy barrel it is tiring to shoot accurately off hand after a short while. I can shoot a lighter 22 better and for longer. This Green Mountain barrel is accurate though and does about as well at 100 yards as I could expect a semi-auto 22 to do with run of the mill ammo.

Yea centerfire is a whole diffrent barrel of rattlesnakes :D

also I believe you can't modify an existing barrel by cutting it or it becomes a prohib, you need to buy one at your preferred length...
