10/22 Tanker a fun SBR build

Honestly=I almost never click on threads with the word "build" in them, as they're mostly guns just assembled with aftermarket parts/upgrades. Very few stir me-this one kind of does. :) Love the blackening of the wood too. Slipery-keep an eye out for another set of sights, and hit me up when Pollievre is PM and Registry V2 is history.

Thanks man, glad you like it!

Looks great, but why did you chop 2" off the back of the stock? They aren't very long as is.

I'd love to see a brass fitted one, both on the cap and butt. Would look like a modern day blunderbuss lol.

Looks nice!
I like the fade to black idea.... sort of like a sunburst strat. The front fade looks nice the rear fade is hard to see but doesn't look as smooth of a transition if I'm being picky.

Well done. Do you have any clear pictures of the entire gun so we can see the proportions better? I have a feeling the stock chop was to make it more balanced looking with the short barrel and get it down to min size.

The G10 on the front looks good but I'd prefer some rubber on the back.

rear fade is better its just the photos, I am picky to ;) yep it looked silly with the full length stock for sure and i wanted a more compact .22. shoulders no problem for me and I'm 6'4"

im not a big fan of rubber on the butt stock gets caught up on clothes. on heavy recoiling rifles I will take a nice rubber pad though lol.

I like the rubber on .22's more for standing the gun up and leaning it against things.... the plastic butt pads can slip and slide.
I'm not surprised the rear is better then it showed in the picture.... it looks like you have an eye for detail.

Only place you can find them... Used on the secondary market

really?
has something changed?
cause I ordered mine directly from nodak a couple of years ago with no issue.
if they are not exporting anymore could you not just get them brought in with irungunz or prophet river or any number of the other importers?

really nice build by the way!

I believe they were bought out and so you can't order from them anymore. Don't even know if they will still be making them. If your getting rid of yours let me know :)

Interesting,

Welcome to NoDak Spud LLC®

NoDak Spud has moved to South Carolina and joined the JJE family of companies (the best know of these is Palmetto State Armory) under the H&R (Harrington & Richardson) brand in a relaunch of this legacy firearms name.

Many of the NDS products will be available under this new enterprise, but it will take several months to have everything in place to again take orders.

For the retro AR line of receivers and parts, future production will be marked with the H&R brand.

Prior orders with NoDak Spud have been cancelled. All NoDak Spud customers with these orders or those on interested parties lists have been contacted concerning the changes and about the forthcoming products from H&R.

Thanks for all your support and patronage over the years.

What’s your opinion on the Dlask compensator?
I’ve been thinking of getting one for my 16.5”.

Dose it reduce noise to the shooter much?
