10/22 target pricing

How much is a new 10/22target worth guys? I can't find one locally except one and they want 3500$ the scope is enourmous!

Also what are some good reputable sites to buy them from?
 
you can buy the dlask one for around $550 IIRC and the ruger .920 c/w hogue stock is around the same $$$. The target models usually go for around $450 bnib. IMO the dlask is the best buy and will be the most accurate.
 
its a company in BC that makes their own high quality aftermarket gun parts. They make quality 10/22 recievers and barrels and put them together in a hogue stock and sell them as a combo for $600 (not $550 like I first said) They are out of stock right now but if I was looking at buying an accurate 10/22 I would spend the extra $100 and grab one of these. I'm not sure what they use for trigger group components and other internals but I have 2 of their barrels and they are wonderful.
 
If you mean the Ruger 10/22 Target Heavy Stainless Barrel - I paid $500 for the Black Laminate stock version from Prairie Gun Traders. If I recall correctly they only charged me +/- $15 for shipping from Sask to NS. The one you're looking at must have a $3000 scope on it . . .

It's a nice rifle but I wish there was some kind of back up iron sight on it or for it.
 
Dlask is so far superior to the VQ they should never be compared to each other, that is like comparing a savage axis to a Sauer.

Spoken like someone who has never handled or used VQ's stuff. I will put my VQ against any rimfire around as far as reliablity and accuracy in a semi auto.

I am quite willing to bet I have handled a lot more VQ products than most here, let alone 10-22 aftermarket goodies.... Spent over $10K one year alone playing with 10-22 pieces... The VQ bolt is the worst thing ever milled, unless in the last 12 months they changed it. After all they have been informed many times what is wrong with it.

I have KIDD, Dlask, VQ, Green Mountain, Whistle pig, Timney, Que, and probably 100 other makers/modifiers parts... VQ makes pretty stuff, it ends there. The only product worse than theirs is Rugers lol.
 
Porsche is crap? Wow thats new! Allot of people dont like the looks but overall under the hood and body they are well built.
Anyways this is getting wayyyyy of topic!
