Looking for someone that sells just the trigger.. Tried Hical but they won't split a kit and didn't sound like any interest in just bringing a lone trigger in. Looking for one with the set screw for overtravel and preferably a wider face on it but thats secondary.

you should be able to get a VQ one from Mil-Arm or whoever else is carrying VQ parts.

I do all of mine.
7/64" drill bit and 6/32 tap OR #21 drill bit and 10/32 tap
Use 5/16" or 1/2" set screw. Put a little blue loctite on set screw threads and set accordingly.

I have the Kidd two stage. It rivals the triggers in my Anschutz rifles.I appreciate the thoughts on the Kidd and such but no need for one on my rifle. I have hand fitted all the parts and most are match grade to start with, only thing I'm missing is adjustment for overtravel.. This is for my Match/squirrel sniper rifle. Trigger is smooth as you can get and set at 1.5lb. .920 barrel, VQ Gas stabilizer, Sims De-resonator, HD weaver rail with a 2.5-10 x 50 mil dot scope all in a free floated Hogue overmold stock (looking for a better stock though) so not going to be putting more coin out to get that feature and raise the trigger pull to 2.25 or so. If it goes well I'm going to try it on my .17hmr as well while I'm doing the trigger on it next week..
