How is the balance of this setup?

It’s 27 3/4 inches with the compensator, id imagine it’s 26 3/4 without, the balance is good since the majority of the weight is around the centre from the scope. Should be even better when I have the flashlight on the front. It’ll balance out with the 4 mags in the stock.

With flashlight, might get a shorter one, but this is with what I have.

Right on thanks. What kind of mount have you got there for the light ?

It’s a blackhawk light mount attached to the magpul backpacker optic mount

Is the rail removable on that barrel?

The cantilevered rail is, you can buy the barrel with or without it, if you buy it with, it can be removed and plug screws for the holes are included.

I got around to shooting it, only mounted a red dot on it as it was my backpacking gun. It’s pretty accurate, farthest I shot was about 20 yards though so I’ll have to try and stretch it out once I get to the range.

What kind of accuracy are you seeing out of this gun?

My Ruger 10/22 TD was finally setup with Dlask bolt, 12.5" bull barrel with 223 muzzle brake(took off from banned AR15), Kidd single stage trigger. Very light and balanced, will test its accuracy in the range. Might reverse the picatinny mount later to fit in my backpack.
