I have been having a problem in getting two Technical Ino. TI 25 composite mags to feed properly in by 10/22 carbine.

I posted to this forum some time ago and most recently to Wanstalls site.

This morning I tried again with some luck with one mag using Win HV Wildcats but had jams with WIn Super X SV, Stingers & Federal bulk pack.

Users have been positive and negative towards copper washed ammo. I too have a problem with the copper coloured bullets.

In trying to understand why, I am of the opinion that it is the shape of the bullet. The lighter weight bullets are not as large in the fore body. Because of this, the blue magazine follower pushes the bullet up a fraction too high, thus causing the jam.

Can those who are successfully using these mags share their experiences?

A stock carbine barrel, rifle about 28 years young.

Did you see the images that I posted earlier? If not, they are in this forum last year.

The jam occurs as the round is chambering, it seems as if it is not high enough at the rear to enter in a staight line to the chanmber.
 
As I posted in another forum, the TI25 mags cause the front of the cartridge to be angled up much more than in a stock Ruger rotary mag. To compensate for this, I simply seated the rear screws down and raised the screws at the front. One adjustment is all it took to get reliable feeding in my Ruger SR-22 carbine.

FYI: I have the aluminum mags, just recently purchased from Wanstalls; and I always shoot CCI mini-mags (HP & HV), Stingers, Velocitors, and nothing else...it seems to be the best .22 ammo available.
