Hey guys, just a thought...but with 5/10 of the top threads (including the sticky) being 10/22-related, is it time to devote a sub-forum to these guns? I get it, lots of them out there=lots of interest. For the rest of us though, a visit to the Rimfire forum means scrolling through all of it to find the stuff we want to see. I think it's a win/win situation.

If we're taking votes on these matters, a sub-forum for "black" .22s would also be welcome. It would be great to see all of that in one place too. I don't think we need a SF for every make of .22s, these two categories seem to stand-out to me.

If there is a better place/person to make a suggestion, please let me know.

Thanks!

I vote yes!

:agree:

I imagine having to go through the entire "rimfire" forum and moving all the associated thread could prove to be quite the task ... but I agree as well. The amount of topics in this forum are related to the 10/22 in one way or another and would be easier if they were all bunched together.

Great idea!
It would probably be better for the guys that don't own 10/22's more than those of us that do - they wouldn't have to scroll through tonnes of our stuff to find theirs..

How about a sub forum fr non 10/22 guys. Lol. The title would be like " non-ruger related-the rest of rimfire world goes here"

I wouldn't say that would be required~there is new stuff all the time. A new forum for all future threads. If there is any desire to dig-up the old stuff, it could be archived in the new forum.

Glad I'm not the only one who agrees that this might be a good idea. :)

I vote no, I hate dividing everything up into sub-categories. It's good for the non 10/22 guys to see what people do with their 10/22's and it's good for the 10/22 guys to see what the rest of the world is doing. It's not like there are so many 10/22 threads that you can't scroll past them all in about two seconds.

It is a good idea. I would prefer that two rimfire forums be created. One for Rimfire Bolt, and the other for Rimfire Non-Bolt. I think the Bolt guns have a lot in common to discuss. Same with the Non-Bolt which would be mainly semi auto and a few lever actions.
