I've got a 10/22 that a friend dropped off for me to repair. For some reason, he let a friend try to do some "converting" on it. Long story short, the sear and trigger have been epoxied together, and I don't think they'll be coming apart anytime soon. So, I figure this may be a good time to put in a aftermarket upgraded trigger, sear and hammer. Where might I find these items in or around the Edmonton area? Or else, can I order them in? My friend just wants the gun back in good, normal operation.

ww w.rimfirecentral.com is a great place for after market parts. I just ordered some trigger parts and I got them in a week. Great service and they don`t charge for shipping of handling. Give them a try.

P&D is worth checking out, both in Edmonton
For P&D , look up at the banners above.

Know anyone into R/C airplanes or Trucks?

See if you can mooch a little bit of fuel off them.

Nitromethane and alcohol will eat epoxy, if slowly. These are the two main ingredients of the fuel used in the smaller engines.
May take a week or two of immersion, but it'll come apart no worse for wear.

P&D are worth dealing with!

Western Gun Parts, if you are looking to replace with stock parts.
