10.22 Trigger Pull

Yes, it does. The Volq trigger kit will make a substantial difference in trigger pull. On mine, it dropped from 13+ lbs to 2.5.

Worth every penny. You wont be disatisfied with this kit.

Yes, that pull would certainly lower pull weight. However, for the "best bang for the buck" you can simply buy a VQ or other brand hammer. This will lower pull down to around 3 pounds. I have a skeeter trigger kit (hammer and seer) in my 10/22 and it lowed it down to about 2 pounds :)

TYVM Guys i ordered the VQ hammer:) its on back order but thats ok ...have lots of goodies ordered for my lil Ruger :) should be fun for indoors this winter thanks again!!

I went with the Power Custom hammer and sear pack, it has a few shims that help keep everything consistant. Quite happy with the pull now.

Or, if you know someone with a dremel, you can "spit shine" the appropriate parts of the trigger group and bring that pull down a LOT as well. There's several posts on how to do it at rimfire central I think. Doesn't cost anything either.

I added the Power Custom trigger/sear kit to mine as well. So the pull's around 2 lbs, there's no creep and the action cycles very smoothly. The trigger and sear shims take the slop out of the stock TG.

I also changed the firing pin to a VQ and added a recoil spring by Speed Spring. The bolt is polished and very slightly radiused at the rear where the hammer rides.

While apart, I added a bolt buffer... Good bye to the clack-clack when cycling.

All of the above was easily done and made a hugh difference over the stock TG, even though it started as a 10/22T.
