I ordered an underfolder stock from Hical and a barrel band with a sling and picatinny rails. Love the fast delivery times!

My circa 2004 10/22 dropped into the stock with no mods or inletting required.

The fit seems good, the stock locks up nice and tight.

With the TRS-25 RD, I don't get a cheek weld, more of a chin weld. I am thinking about mounting the RD on an angle mount on the right rail and removing the Ruger base so that the irons can be used as well.

The carbine is a plinking/truck gun and maybe the occasional grouse if I see one by the side of the road (hunting wise I'd use my CZ 455).

The cheap ass Walther light/laser seems to be mounted solidly on the bottom rail. Time will tell.

I am planning on drilling a sling stud into the back end of the stock and will go with a 2 point sling.

It feels very handy and solid, the stock folds with a BC steel lip 25 round mag inserted but I like the way it handles with the 10 round Ruger magazine better.

OAL folded is 26.5". Whew!

We use the angled for iron sights or low profile red dots, straight for optics with rings. The 15 degree angle is the same as a Ruger factory stock. We stock all of them , including the Takedown versions, HERE.

I installed an Uncle Mike's sling swivel into the end of the stock (OAL folded now 26.75"!!!!!!!!).

I moved the TRS-25 forward onto a 45 degree mount. It is zeroed at 25 yards, same as the iron sights. They seem to hit pretty close to the POA at 100m with Winchester 555s when shooting at clays.

I taped the tape switch on the right side of the stock. The laser is too weak to see in daylight and I zeroed it at 15m.

The balance feels wonky with the red dot on the side and I might just go with the iron sights.

Wondering if you the laser, and where you got it?

Setup looks cool!

It's a Walther laser/light and I think it's an airsoft. I bought it at Camouflage on Granby in Vancouver (impulse buy, I was there buying ASP batons). It seems to hold up to the .22 recoil and it sure puts bullets in a puck sized circle at 15-20 yards from the hip.
