Hi guys,
Just played a couple of hours of Call of Duty to put me in the milsurp mode hehe and it got me thinking, are there some cool world war 2 conversion kits for 10/22? I saw an MG-42 kit, which looked really cool. Are there other cool kits like that? Mainly M1 or Thompson (not tommy gun) or maybe sten or something similar looking?

Thompson and M1 Carbines... there is a guy on here in the process of manufacturing them.. or at least the Thompson...

I think the other one is called Fun gun or something?

Not a kit, but the 10/22 will fit an M1 carbine stock with a bit of modification. At least a couple people have posted pics of their conversions.

There are some sold commercially, as posted above,
and there are some people who make their own.

CGN member skirsons made some look-alikes,
a M1 Carbine and a PPSh.

edit: skirsons, I'm still waiting to see a Suomi look-alike ;)

Oh wow, awesome! I also found some posts about a guy making a kit here on CGN. I sent him a PM about it...

This would make an awesome grouse hunting 22LR rifle, with tech-sights or something of the sort as well... :dancingbanana:

Any other WW2 dress up kits you know of?

You mean, just run without ever firing a single round? Can't say I ever tried it.

I think he means stay crouched, move as a tactical unit with your weapons always aimed. Very very close to camping.

Run'n'gun means being a dumb ass like the 8 year olds playing halo. Run around the map, aiming very little and hosing everything that moves down with at least a full magazine of automatic gunfire (and a grenade).

yes move like a tactical unit or Spec ops / stealth like with No Running & yes there is camping if you like, But No spawn camping. I'm a admin in a gaming server like this for both COD 4 & 5 it's hard at first but some get really good at it. my daughter is a clan member and is really good, my son not so good.

PS. cool what you can do to a 10/22 these days.
