It is called a dutch chamber because when the Dutch adopted the C7 and C8 rifle from Diemaco, the C8's were plagued with functional issues and Diemaco had to come up with a solution or loose the entire contract.
They looked at a number of solutions and came up with a slight adjustment of the chamber dimensions. It is not really loose or tight. It has a generous freebore, slight difference in angle at the throat. All to optimize reliability. The ass end of the chamber is also slightly more generous.
Once we had the drawing, our reamer MFG said it was an Accuracy International chamber. Funny enough the chamber is also found in Wilson Combat rifles.
LWRC (the old company), got a contract to modify many diemaco C8 SFW's. We noticed they functioned reliably with much smaller gas ports meaning extraction was easier. The chamber was adopted on all LWRCI rifles manufacture starting in Cambridge MD with the Hammer Forged Barrels.
