I recently (very recently) discovered that Track of the Wolf will no longer export these outside of the USA.
Is there something 'new' in the wind regarding US export laws fellas?

And does anyone else know of a vendor south of our border that will ship these legally to Canada??

so many questions........;)

Will Bilozir at bilozir dot net imports brass casings in some pretty strange sizes.

Janice, Steve and I ALL got 24-gauge brass casings from him at the Brandon show and he still had bags of them left, plus 12s, 16s, 20s and, I do believe also 10-bore.

Right now, I am awaiting a note from him regarding the 32-bores I need for a project......

He is also a Pedersoli importer and brings in a mouth-watering variety of handmade Spanish, Italian and Turkish shotguns and double rifles.

Very good guy to know.

^Thanks smellie. You certainly usually have the straight goods on info such as these. But last time I checked, about six months ago, Will does not bring in these specific all brass items. (Yes, I did see Federal & IIRC Winchester plastic 10 bore hulls)

Cheers!

Well, I bought brass cases from him just before Christmas..... and he had bags and bags of the stuff.

Check his web-page. I know there is a huge American shop with a monster catalogue; Will imports anything in it. That includes the CBC brass casings, Cheddite 32-bore and 24-bore plasticsw (make great .50-70 and .577 Snider respectively) and a bunch that I am still trying to figure out an excuse for experimenting with.

Good luck!

Thanks again smellie, I will give him a shout very soon..................;)

He's a Regular at the prairie gun shows, so if you can wait and can arrange for him to bring the stuff with him, that may be an option. Lloyd show, maybe?

I figure Track is doing the CYA thing, via their Company Lawyer, in an effort to not see their profits for the year go up in a puff of paperwork and fines. Err to the side of caution, and all that!

Cheers

the issue with bilozir is he only imports CBC/magtech brass shotshells they do not make 10ga hulls(I've brought it up to them more then once that there is a big market looking for 10ga brass nothing yet). I don't know who is making the 10ga brass at track of the wolf it had parker bro's on it but I doubt that's who makes. I was not able to find new brass and with mgtech not doing a thing I went on the hunt found my self a good number of old brass hulls

How are you doing Trevor?

Long time no hear from you buddy................

Doin' pretty well. Been a mild winter here and have not been missing the cold.

You talked to Bilozir yet? Better to ask at source than to muck about wondering who has the right info, eh. He always seemed pretty decent to deal with at the shows. Never dealt with him by mail.

Cheers

Other source to check for 10 ga Brass hulls is Doug and Fran Rayner PO Box 35 Lancer Sask SON-1G0 Ph 306-689-2654 Saskatchewan.

I just talked to Raynor's and Will yesterday and today. No 10 gauge brass. I was looking for a bunch myself.

Also, sounds like it's going to be difficult if not impossible to get from RMC, due to the border and cost.

It looks like I'm going to buy another lathe next month and start turning them myself.

The Buffalo Arms website indicates they will export shotshell brass but cannot ship rifle brass. You might also contact Hilltop Musket Supply in Senlack, SK. It is my understanding that their anti-terrorism laws allow export of shotshell brass but not rifle brass. Smuggling it home in your vehicle or whatever can bring down the wrath of Uncle Sam in a big way if you get checked at the border. Can Customs could care less...
