10 gauge value?

have a chance at a H&R single shot 10 gauge with 36" barrel. gun is in good shape, some handling marks, safe kisses, etc. locks up tight. just wanted some advice on a price. seller not sure himself on price so just want to have some knowledge in case he comes with a high price, thanks

Having shot one I would not pay over 100, it probably is worth 150.

I'd rather shoot the old hnr single tens over my new synthetic mossberg 3.5". They weighed better than 8 lbs. I've had the 36" and a nice thick 28" gun. Should have kept them

They are worth $200 easy - I don't think the waterfowl model is made anymore, and if it was, it would probably cost $350 new in Canada - at least that's what I was quoted last time I looked. Don't listen to the guys saying they are brutal to shoot. Mine weighs almost 9.5 lbs and shoots like a pussycat. It's not much for swinging, but does handle much better than my SXS 10 gauge.
