Seriously interested in the 10MM but no experience at all with it. Interested in firearm suggestions, price not an issue no Chinese junk. What's readily available and what is a good pistol in this caliber?

I've had a S&W 1006 & a colt delta elite which are both great guns, harder to find kinda regret selling them. If I had to buy one now it would probably be a G20 if I wanted something cheaper or a 1911 If i wanted to spend money

Another vote for the:

Colt Delta Elite.

Had a S&W 1066 once, too. Great gun but 1000 series Smith's hard to find now.

no Chinese junk.

Junk isn't restricted to the Chinese, anymore. We've all heard recent stories of lack of QC with S&W, Para, Ruger, Kimber, etc.
If I were to buy a handgun, online(sight unseen), it would be a Norinco. Chances of getting a good one are much better, than with American made ones.
Too bad they don't make one in a 10mm, yet.

I shot a glock 20 and really liked it. I only shot 10 rd as it was a members (EESA) gun and he just offered me to give it a try. At the time I was only use to 9mm and found 10mm to be nice and snappy. It was accurate for me. He complained that it was not accurate but when I tried it I didnt find that to be the case. So, maybe the shooter? lol. I would buy one in a second.

Glock 20 and sw 10xx series are the most durable of all the 10s I have owned over the years. Good luck finding a smith though...

I did after much searching, no regrets at all. OP needs to be reloading, too. Commercial 10mm auto ammo is weak sauce and really doesn't live up to the potential of the cartridge. Loaded to its max limits it eats .357 Mag for breakfast.

Colt Delta Elite. I don't think there is a 10 mm chinese gun. If there were and it was made from the same steel that the Norinco 1911's are made out of, I am sure it would be decent enough.

glocks seem to hold up to the hot load 10mm the Delta Elite is another great of the 10mm world. try the light (FBI) load for longevity out of the 10mm.

and hang on they are no oversized 9mm like some think.

I've had a G20 and Delta Elite - both great guns. You can load the 10mm to 'just' make major power factor quite easily, or ramp it right up.

Nighthawk also make delicious 10mm 1911s - depends on your budget!

Just sold my G20. I have owned several 10mm G20 G29 and Delta Elite. It comes down to your paw size for the G20...its kind of a beast. If you have somewhat smaller hands there is a G29 on the EE which I really liked, just found it a little small for my mitts. I have been searching for several years for a S&W1006... kind of a unicorn. Found a couple in the US but neither party wanted to ship them out of the country. :(

Glock all the way.
Someone really in 10 mm told that he wouldn't take a delta elite because the frame wasn't designed for it. It works but after couple thousands the frame will be more beaten up than a glock. Only an opinion.
