10 or 5 round mags for 858?

I bought my factory 5 rounder at Reliable in Vancouver. They are a couple bucks more than the 30 rounders. Better for hunting and bench shooting, but kind of lacking the cool factor of the 30 rounder.

The factory 5 rounder I have appears to be a cut down 30 round mag. I like it for hiking and shooting off a bench. The 5/30 stick out too much, if they held 30 legally it wouldn't bother me as much.

If its a rifle mag, then that's a little grayer...I think you'd find yourself in prison if you used it with a semi.

Shooting a rifle with a normal 30rd magazine isn't illegal. Just the magazine would be.
So as long as the magazine is legit, no problems with sticking it in a semi.

Canadian gun owners need permission from the RCMP to wipe, that is where the issue stems from.

Maybe a bit stiffer, loaded up fine.
