10 round .308 pistol magazines XCR-M question

Hello GNers,

Just wondering if anyone has faced getting hassled or bothered about 10 round pistol magazines in .308 for the XCR-M or others. Has anyone had to deal with a police officer being ignorant of the law when shooting on crown land and giving you a hard time? Before I buy these I just wonder if I am inviting problems or what. I think it was here in AB or Sask that a officer was sued for unlawful search and seizure putting a fellow gun owner in shiny bracelets for a prohibited device... Print the paperwork Rcmp don't even know what the actual law is 99% of the time

Best case you end up educating someone, worst case obviously they try to take your firearms away, but having the paperwork with you may just save you from such a situation.

In my experience, at least at the ranges in the Cold Lake/Bonnyville areas, most people will talk to you about it before going as far as calling the cops. Once they realize it's perfectly legal they back down. Especially when they realize they can do it too lol.
