Hey does anyone know where to get them for less than $40 for poly and $55 for metal? Also is poly good quality or should I buy the metal mags?

Thanks

Either will last a lifetime if you take care of them. If you find them ----- just buy them; you only buy them once. $5 or $10 shouldn't be the difference between having them and not.

I have a 10 round poly one for my hmr 452 and no problems. It came with a 5 end metal one. The poly one is a tighter fit so doesn't jiggle around. Also for 22r mags you can use 452 or 455 mages. For the wmr and hmr you need either a 452 or a 455 mag.

I have more than one of the 10-rd poly that I use in a .22LR CZ-452, no problems so far.
I would recommend them to others.

The other place you can try if you happen into Calgary on a shopping trip is ProLine in Inglewood. They usually have them, and their prices tend to be reasonable (at least, last time I picked up a 452 mag from them about a year ago they were reasonable). Worth the visit just to see what a real gun shop is supposed to look like.

I have a couple metal 5 rounders, couple poly 5's, and some poly 10's... The poly are a hair wider and fill out the magwell, so no movement, but they "glide" better going in than the metal ones - no metal on metal friction, if that makes any sense.

I'm not worried about either holding up for the life of the rifle.
