WHERE did you get it???????

I'm thinking it could be the special charger for the AG42/AG42B Swedish rifles, in which case there will be a LOT of people (including me) who will want one or more.

Most Swedish chargers I have seen are stamped either A or K on the back side. How is this one stamped?

I’ve seen them advertised on some US sites.

I believe they are new production and made to facilitate a faster reload of the M14 magazine or charging slot (although I wonder if it wouldn’t be somewhat awkward due to the size.)

Your best bet is probably to check on the M14 forum and ask those boys what they think of them. Chances are they have already field-tested them.

These 'RARE GI' (bullsh*t) 10 round clips are no more then Chinese production clips done for the likes of NcSTAR and the various resellers in the US. I guess these 10 round aftermarket clips are aimed for the Californian market and elsewhere where you have a fixed low capacity magazine requirements.

The military tested various designs of 10 round stripper clips and chargers for the M14 and FAL rifles in the mid-late 1950's but they were rejected because the clips were unmanageable and prone to damage. It was just as quick to use 5 round stripper clips.

Here's one of the few 'military' trials 10 round Chargers, this is a FN made 'horseshoe' Charger next to the British 5 round Mk. 1 'horseshoe' Charger.
